TheeZoo

Welcome to TheeZoo

Where Junk Gets Wild.

Part workshop. Part art gallery. Part “what the forkin’ heck is that?”

Welcome to TheeZoo, where scrap metal gets a second chance and a whole lot of personality.

What started with one guy, a welder and a habit of seeing possibility in things other people threw away has grown into something much bigger: a working art space, a collection of strange creatures and a place where discarded materials come back to life.

Every piece begins with something somebody else was finished with. Then it gets cut, bent, welded, rebuilt and dragged back into the world with an entirely new story.

This isn’t the kind of gallery where you whisper and pretend to understand the painting. This is where the weird stuff gets made.

See The Madness

TheeZoo is part gallery and part working creative space, where ideas become sparks, noise, metal and something nobody quite expected.

Stay Curious

Some pieces are funny. Some are massive. Some glow. Some look like they might have opinions. They’re all meant to make you stop and look.

Built One Piece At A Time

Junk Doesn't Stay Junk For Long.

Scrap steel, discarded tools, old cutlery and forgotten pieces become fur, feathers, claws, scales and creatures with a completely new life.

Look closely. You’re supposed to recognize what the materials used to be.

Made To Travel

The Art Doesn't Stay In One Place.

Pieces leave the workshop, travel, find new homes and end up in places where nobody expects to encounter a creature made from thousands of pieces of discarded metal.

The second life should be more interesting than the first.

Then TheeZoo Changes Again.

Light and shadow can completely change how a piece feels. Familiar sculptures take on another personality when the lights go down.

One Welder. A Lot Of Ideas.

TheeZoo grew out of looking at something discarded and asking what else it could become.

Forks become feathers. Spoons become scales. Steel becomes animals, stories and things that make people stop and ask: “What the hell is that made from?”
