The Misty & Whitehorse Custodian Lantern exists for one reason:

To help keep TheeZoo intact.

This lantern was created alongside Misty and Whitehorse, the mother polar bear and cub sculpture that lives at TheeZoo. It represents stewardship — the choice to protect something meaningful so it doesn’t have to be broken apart or sent away in order to survive.

Finished in a layered burnt patina and airbrushed by hand, the light does not simply pass through this lantern — it settles into it. The imagery of Misty standing watch while Whitehorse stays close is intentional. This piece is about care, presence, and responsibility carried forward.

Each Custodian Lantern allows the core works of TheeZoo to remain here, telling their story in the space they were created for.
